There’s was once a famous New York City Mayor who would walk through the busy streets and ride the subways asking the question “How am I doing?”

 

Do you think everyone said, “Good job?” No – he got good solid info he could use to help him govern in that challenging city.

 

Now that’s brave! New Yorkers are known to be opinionated people.

 

Do you often walk around your place of business (or make time on a remote call) to ask that very important question?

 

Given the “climate” in workplaces today (more stress, more discontent, less engagement) maybe you should be asking.
