Side view of a blonde woman draped in an American flag, standing thoughtfully in contemplation with a blurred city skyline background during sunset.

A day to pause.

To honor sacrifice.

To remember the people who gave so much in service to something larger than themselves.

And perhaps it’s also a quiet reminder that human beings were never meant to live in constant speed, pressure, and emotional exhaustion.

Sometimes we need moments that invite us to slow down long enough to remember what matters most:

connection

gratitude

service

family

community

and each other

I hope today gives you at least a little space to breathe.

And as leaders, maybe Memorial Day also invites us to reflect on the kind of emotional experience we create for the people around us every day.

Do people feel seen?

Safe?

Appreciated?

Encouraged?

Exhausted?

Rushed?

Invisible?

Leadership leaves emotional footprints.

Always.

Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful Memorial Day.

Warmly,

JoAnna
